The web-based CCPA Opt-Out Tool from the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) will leverage the existing WebChoices platform, which already allows users to set opt outs for multiple companies in a particular browser to control interest-based advertising (IBA). We expect that companies already integrated with the existing WebChoices tool could achieve a successful integration with the new CCPA Opt-Out Tool in a relatively short time frame. The new CCPA Opt-Out Tool will be accessible through www.privacyrights.info. Participating companies must take certain steps in order to take advantage of its functionality on or after January 1, 2020.
What Will Happen Next?
If your company is interested in participating in the cross-industry DAA Privacy Rights program by being listed on DAA’s CCPA Opt-Out Tool, please complete the registration form below. After submitting this form, upon review and qualification, you will receive a CCPA Opt-Out Tool(s) contract agreement within 10 business days along with integration guidance documents for the CCPA Opt-Out Tool.
Once this agreement is signed and payment to DAA is received, you will be provided with technical guidance for integration and inclusion on the CCPA Opt-Out tool.
Fees
The fee to participate in the CCPA Opt-Out Tool is TBD [to be decided] and is renewable annually. A multi-screen bundle pricing option also is available in conjunction with WebChoices and AppChoices registration, as well as bundled pricing option for both Web and App CCPA Opt-Out Tools.
